Ophelia-Dawn Shona Power

Ophelia - Vocals, Lyrics

Self-described as "just a Canadian girl with a voice” Ophelia-Dawn Shona Power is far too modest of her remarkable talent as a singer and songwriter. Ophelia's debut album, Emancipation, reveals a kind of subtle reassurance and familiarity that defies her 28 years of life experience. With a voice that echoes the likes of Sarah Harmer and Heather Nova and with lyrics that reflect the poetry of a wounded heart repaired, Ophelia brings back song and wisdom in raw "coffee house" sound ensembles.
